From the same water-covered world as Captain Fury, Sharky has a fierce, sharklike appearance and wields a long spear that looks like a harpoon. As an apex predator, Sharky can smell vulnerable enemies and use his ferocious fighting skills to hunt them down. After Captain Fury received the Observer's call and left Water Earth, Sharky, who considered himself to be Captain Fury's greatest enemy, went to Earth, furious he did not receive an invitation. He is determined to prove he is the true champion of Water Earth.

Sharky is from a parallel Earth where the polar ice caps melted, covering the planet with water. The sea covered nuclear power facilities and various other harsh pollutants, making the sea water so toxic that many creatures began to mutate. Sharky is one of the products of this disaster. Once a regular great white shark, he mutated into a muscular shark man, and because of his aggressive appearance, he had little choice but to become a pirate.
If Captain Fury and his Anchor Fleet are the kings of the sea, then Sharky and his Shark Pirates can be said to be the hegemons of the deep. Sharky takes it for granted that he is Captain Fury's arch-nemesis, although the arrogant Captain Fury never takes Sharky and his Shark Pirates seriously. Every time Sharky and Captain Fury face off, it's an unforgettable event on Water Earth.
