Flaw is a tree man born on the planet of Yggdrasil. Although Flaw may look thin and wispy, he has a fighting spirit and wields a shield imbued with star power. When Flaw is caught up in the fire of war, none can penetrate his defenses to reach those who shelter behind him.
Sun and Water
In the final moments when CHAOS invaded Yggdrasil with the Chaos Army, Flaw was consumed in the nova that endangered the entire planet, protecting his home from the explosion. He was neither seen nor heard from until the Observer’s call reached out through space via the Reality Vizor and reached Flaw where he was stuck between reality and the Broken Plane. There, he had been eternally resisting the invasion of chaos energy into the material universe. Now, Flaw is determined to seek out and defeat CHAOS once and for all.
Flaw grew up in the most desolate lands on the planet Yggdrasil, and his dessicated appearance made him look weak among the people of the Star Treants. But this did not affect Flaw’s love for his family, himself or his planet. Many centuries before the invention of Quantaar, CHAOS and his Chaos Legion tried to invade the material plane many times, and the tree of the universe, Yggdrasil, was one of CHAOS’s prime targets.
When the Chaos Legion invaded his home, Flaw showed a firmer resolve than any other hero. Flaw stood on the battlefield and heroically resisted the assaults of the Chaos Legion, which made him rise to prominence among his tribe. They rewarded him with a mighty shield full of star power made by a legendary carpenter of the tree people. When Flaw charged the shield with the power of the stars, no one could hurt those who took shelter behind his defenses.
Flaw led the treants and star animals to drive the Chaos Legion back to their plane step by step. At the end of the battle, CHAOS destroyed the structure of the rift between the material and chaos planes, intending to cause a massive nova and reduce the entire planet of Yggdrasil to ashes. Flaw once again raised his star shield and blocked the shockwave of the explosion, but in the process he was trapped in the gap between reality and the Broken Plane.
There Flaw drifted, endlessly resisting the chaotic energy from invading the material universe again. After the final explosion, the treants and star animals of Yggdrasil sang the hero story of Flaw for the next hundred years.
