Before Maitreya arrived in the tenth dimension of the Western Bliss Galaxy, he used to go by the name of Qi Xun. He often carried a cloth bag and wandered around the universe, demonstrating his godlike magical power to passers-by and spreading his happiness and good will to all corners of the universe. Finally, at the end of his journey, a hyperspace battleship named Tathagata Palm came to invite Maitreya to their dimension. Maitreya's Smile never faltered as he calmly embarked on his next journey.
